My name is Justin Colangelo. I am currently working as a web developer and designer in the Portland, Maine for a company called Dirigo Design & Development. My interests are in music writing, recording, and live performance. This is why I built a site that lets our friends from around the world collaborate without being in the same room. This is for art and music.

I've been in web development for many years mostly working on my own ideas and projects. My skills are in PHP, SQL, javascript/jquery, C#, .NET MVC, C and C++. After obtaining a degree in Audio Engineering, I moved on to begin a degree in Computer Engineering. I've been working in technical support for years, recording music in a home studio, and building sites on the side. It's fun to bring creativity to web development just like with music recording and writing.

I am interested in a job that will challenge my abilities and make me learn new things. I read to keep up with new technologies and code whether it's articles online, or in books, or in email conversations with past professors. It's important to be up to date and learn to adapt to new ideas. Browsers are always changing and so are standards which is why cross-platform coding is important.
